For your consideration is a Mac Pro 4,1 processor tray, designed to upgrade. Your single CPU Mac Pro 2009. This tray is NOT compatible with a 2010/2012 Mac Pro 5,1 tower. Mac Pro 2009 (4,1) Dual CPU Tray. 2x 4-Core Intel "Gainestown" Xeon E5520 2.26ghz De-Lidded CPU, 8-Cores 16-Threads total.

32GB ECC DIMM DDR3-1600 RAM (4x 8GB, reads as 1066mhz). This is a used tray this shows light dust and age. It was pulled from a fully functional unit and was tested for good thermals and for functionality of CPUs and RAM using MacOS 10.13 High Sierra and Cinebench R20. This tray was tested in a "flashed" 4,1 tower using 10.13 High Sierra with the assumption that someone upgrading their single tray Mac Pro will also be performing the 4,1->5,1 flash.
